PolyGuard High Capacity Filtration Media

PolyGuard is a polymeric filtration media used to remove dissolved hydrocarbon contamination from water or air.

PolyGuard features the following:

  • High-capacity polymeric super -absorbent for the removal of hydrocarbon contaminants
  • Suited for both aqueous and vapor phase applications
  • Dry, granular absorbent, in ready to use form
  • Highly effective with high influent concentrations (ppmv)
  • Used as a pre-treatment for carbon or other polishing technologies to extend bed life
  • Recommended as a stand-alone product in some situations, where other technologies fail
  • Cost effective in operation, for a quick ROI
  • Easily and quickly disposed of through incineration
  • Labor saving

PolyGuard's high absorption capacity makes it the perfect replacement or add-on to a carbon filtration system.

Systems suitable for carbon adsorption can be easily adapted to using PolyGuard alone or in conjunction with carbon.
