PolyGuard is a polymeric filtration media used to remove dissolved hydrocarbon contamination from water or air.
PolyGuard features the following:
- High-capacity polymeric super -absorbent for the removal of hydrocarbon contaminants
- Suited for both aqueous and vapor phase applications
- Dry, granular absorbent, in ready to use form
- Highly effective with high influent concentrations (ppmv)
- Used as a pre-treatment for carbon or other polishing technologies to extend bed life
- Recommended as a stand-alone product in some situations, where other technologies fail
- Cost effective in operation, for a quick ROI
- Easily and quickly disposed of through incineration

PolyGuard's high absorption capacity makes it the perfect replacement or add-on to a carbon filtration system.
Systems suitable for carbon adsorption can be easily adapted to using PolyGuard alone or in conjunction with carbon.
